Delve Magic
A Solitaire/Co-Op Campaign Format for Magic: The Gathering
Delve Magic is a hybrid format for Magic: The Gathering, combining a Minimaster Cube and Horde Magic. In it, the players are nascent planeswalkers protecting their realms from waves of hostile invaders, represented by a Horde Magic deck (or decks). Using randomized packs of cards from the Minimaster Cube and by spending accumulated experience, the players increase their repertoire of spells and powers until they're able to mount a final assault and seal off the threat at it's source.
Delve Magic is played as a campaign of connected games, with the players having persistent decks that are improved from game to game. This is a casual format meant to scale with more players, but best played with two or three players. It's also meant to be affordable and use up cards in your collection already, since the supermajority of cards required to build a Minimaster Cube will be commons. Your Horde decks can be built to reflect whatever type of challenge you are interested in overcoming.
