The trend continues, though I can't say I didn't do any work... I just didn't take any pictures. Uncommon ValorDid I finish the monsters or vehicles? No, of course not. But that's because there's been another big change that streamlines the rules quite a bit... and eliminates the use of the D6 altogether. Now, all dice are D8, including the Momentum Dice. And the Momentum Cap is now equal to the points value for the game. This means players get slightly longer turns (statistically, about 1/4 longer), but there's more variance in the rolls, and you're more likely to run out of fresh units as the potential to trigger a turnover rolls around. This is an all-around improvement. The Momentum Lines now reward those risks, and Turnovers are less punishing but still very bad. We played a few games with these new rules and we like it a lot. So it's a big change. I naturally forgot to take pictures, so... uh... take my word for it. Next is the VEHICLES AND MONS TERS, I swear. Skies Far BeyondNo big changes here, just ongoing incremental improvements. I did change the contested series so skill exhaustion is back in that, and you can remove it using momentum or by taking an idle turn. Otherwise, I did some balance tweaks on the missiles and the usual small changes and adjustments. But the core gameplay on this is pretty much locked in now, so the only changes going forward will probably be to stats of aircraft and weapons. It's not finished, but it's very close.
